After a horrific vehicle crаsh that left him with a significant back ιnjury, comedian Kevin Hart posted a video of his difficult recuperation.
Hart’s physical therapy after a friend’s souped-up 1970 Plymouth Barracuda crashed in Calabasas, California on September 1 was shown on Tuesday.
‘You know you’re powerless. “No matter how much you think you’re in control, you’re not,” Hart says in the video.
‘When God talks, you gotta listen,’ he says as clips show him straining to walk after weeks of bed rest.
‘Some of your strangest experiences are the ones you needed most. Hart says, “I honestly feel like God basically told me to sit down.”
He says, ‘You know you moving too quickly and doing too much, sometimes you can’t notice the things you’re meant to see. However, my аccident changed my view on life. My life appreciation is sky-high.
The video showed him somberly thanking family, friends, admirers, and God for his recovery.
At the end of the film, a doctor tells him it would take a year to recuperate, but he says he is not in a hurry.
Hart delivered his first remark since the collision this month, stating he had ‘nothing but love’ for driver Jared Black and wishing him and his fiancee Rebecca Broxterman a speedy recovery.
Hart was traveling with Black and Broxterman when their automobile went off the road and crashed into a ditch in early September, causing significant back injuries and surgery.
California Highway Patrol found Black, the fiance of Hart’s wife’s personal trainer Broxterman, in the driver’s seat after the аccident involving Hart’s automobile.
Hart seemed to have no animosity against his buddies.
‘I have nothing but love for Jared and wish him and Rebecca a rapid recovery,’ he stated Thursday through his attorney.
Andrew Brettler, Kevin’s attorney, told EW that Kevin won’t return to work until early next year.
The attorney stated, ‘While he’s doing a little work here and there for the film, he doesn’t expect to be fully back to work until the new year.
The 40-year-old comedian had his spine fused after fracturing it in three places in the Malibu crаsh earlier this month.
After the crаsh, law enforcement sources told TMZ last month that ‘none of the three occupants in the car were wearing seat belts’.
After stripping Hart’s antique automobile, police found it ‘did not have any technical concerns’ and that ‘driving error’ caused the incident.
According to the crаsh report, Hart left the scene last month while his wife’s personal trainer Broxterman and her fiance Black, who was driving, were stuck.
Police discovered significant bodywork, including sports tires and a 6.4L Hemi V-8 engine. This automobile supposedly lacked anti-lock brakes
Report: ‘There were fold and crease marks on the belt surfaces consistent with being folded and tucked into the seats and no evidence of occupant loading were present.’
If worn, authorities sаy: ‘They were being worn inappropriately due to significant slack in the belts.’
Broxterman, 40, was located facing the windshield between the right passenger seat and roof. The investigation says the car was ‘not designed to carry rear seat passengers’.
Hart told TMZ, ‘I have nothing but love for Jared and wish him and Rebecca a rapid recovery.’ Plastic storage boxes replaced the backseats.
However, the site reported that sources expect’multiple lawsuit[s] emanating from the crаsh’. the comic is promoting Jumanji: The Next Level.
The comedians shot six hours of video on Monday, two hours on Tuesday, and one on Thursday.
Hart is still recovering from the ιnjury, but he is committed to his duties.
After returning home from rehab on September 20, the funnyman is still in agony and seeing a physical therapist.
Doctors sаy Hart will heal from the crаsh with time and workouts.
In DailyMail.com footage, Kevin’s wife Eniko Hart said he was ‘going to be just fine’ after the tragedy.
His back surgery was ‘a complete success’ according to The Blast.
Hart suffered serious back injuries when his vintage automobile went off the road and into a ditch on the first weekend of September.
The comedian was hospitalized after the early Sunday morning Malibu hills horror collision.
Hart may have been in a 1970 Plymouth Barracuda with his wife’s personal trainer Rebecca Broxterman, 31, and her fiancé Jared Black, 28.
Black, apparently driving, lost control of the automobile and crashed down a hill off Mulholland Highway at 1am.
Authorities found Black and Instagram fitness model Broxterman stuck inside.
“Hart and Black sustained major back injuries as a result of this collision and were transported and treated at nearby hospitals,” Highway Patrol reported.
Broxterman was unharmed and Black was sober.
A member of Kevin’s security team’showed up in an SUV and snatched him up’, witnesses said. Hart’s pal informed 911 dispatchers he was confused and unable to move after his horrifying crаsh.
She also claimed the incident happened 20 minutes before she called, contradicting police records.
This unusual twist came hours after a witness, who also contacted 911 following the incident, observed Hart being helped from his damaged 1970 Plymouth Barracuda by security from the driver’s side window and taken away in a black Escalade.
In the driver’s seat was Hart’s wife’s personal trainer’s fiance, Jared Black, according to California Highway Patrol.
At 2.13am, an anonymous female caller from Hart’s residence reported the comedian was ‘not coherent at all’ and that ‘he can’t move’ and pointed to a back bulge.
He said ‘he can’t move’ and has a back ιnjury. Despite police and witness records showing the crаsh occurred closer to 1am, she maintained it happened 20 minutes ago outside their gated enclave.
The crаsh site photos showed the classic automobile fully damaged.
Kevin drove the bright blue car and spun his tires for an Instagram video the day before the tragedy.
As the perfect 40th birthday gift, he bought the car earlier this year.
As stated, the California Highway Patrol will disassemble Hart’s 1970 Plymouth Barracuda to determine if restored historic car safety legislation are needed.
One week to disassemble the car and two to three weeks to assess the evidence and prepare the report can take up to a month.
The CHP will investigate if the car was unlаwfully restored and whether mechanical breakdown caused the incident.
