Mykhailo Mudryk lifestyle change revealed after underwhelming start to life at Chelsea
Mykhailo Mudryk has had a rocky start to his career at Chelsea subsequent to his transfer from Shakhtar Donetsk in a transfer fee exceeding £80 million.
In January, eight players, including the 22-year-old, reported to Stamford Bridge as Todd Boehly and Graham Potter anticipated a significant improvement in the second half of the season.
Regrettably, these intentions have come to nothing, as Potter was dismissed following a 2-0 loss to Aston Villa and Frank Lampard was reinstated on a temporary basis last week.
Meanwhile, Mudryk has fallen short of expectations in his tenure in West London thus far, with 10 Chelsea appearances across all competitions resulting in an absence of goals and a single assist.
The Sun, however, suggests that his difficulties stem from off-field issues. Since relocating to the United Kingdom, Mudryk has reportedly felt lonely in London, per their report.
In an effort to facilitate his relocation, Mudryk is rumored to be relocating his family to London.
Shakhtar CEO Serhiy Palkin has urged Chelsea to exercise patience with the attacker despite his sluggish start and insisted that Mudryk is not entirely dissatisfied.
“A week ago in England, I met Mykhailo Mudryk and he is very happy,” according to him. “He enjoys everything that is occurring there; he desires to put forth effort and perform at his highest level.
“From the very outset, I advised the Chelsea owners that they were dealing with a genuine diamond, but that they should exercise an immense amount of patience. “Give this individual some time, and he will demonstrate his worth to the club.”
