Jay-Z shares the same opinion as Lil Wayne when mistaking 21Savage for a group of 21 young rappers

Lil Wayne Praises JAY-Z, Recalls Mistaking 21 Sаvаge for a Group on ‘Drink Champs’

Following the eagerly anticipated 2018 album Tha Carter V is Lil Wayne’s brand-new album Funeral, which is currently available. In the most recent episode of Drink Champs, which is currently streaming on TIDAL, there is also a long and incredibly honest interview with blink-182, the band’s new touring companion.

Notably, during the conversation, Wayne spoke some incredibly wonderful things about JAY-Z. “I can’t let another single word go without saying how genuine and how much of a man that guy is,” stated the man. “That’s a real man right there.”

Wayne extended the compliments, reflecting on a time in his career when JAY was aggressively attempting to sign Young Money while he “was going through a whole bunch of things.”

“To begin with, it was a privilege—more than just a privilege.  He explained that all he was doing was attempting to assist in every way possible. ‘If I must sign your mom, man, whatever I gotta do to help you out in your circumstance that you’re going through right now,’ he was like. ‘I realize it’s embarrassing,’ he said. They made sҺit widely known. Making sure you’re straight as a man is what I want to do. You will always be okay with the rap stuff. Shut your eyes; you understand. I just want to make sure that you and your family are doing well.”

Regarding the content of their conversation, Wayne mentioned that JAY was prepared to go above and above. “There was no limit to his numbers when it came to what you need,” he stated.\ Additionally, N.O.R.E. brought up JAY’s answer to Wayne’s “Dough Is What I Got” freestyle, in which Weezy performed a cover of JAY’s “Show Me What You Got.” After hearing the Lil Weezy Ana cut, JAY had to go for a contemplative walk, according to texts that the presenter revealed.

Genius noticed JAY saying, “I had to take a long walk and look at myself in the mirror when he rapped on ‘Show Me What You Got.” “I said ‘Are you sure you still got this?’” Weezy was questioned elsewhere about Top Dawg Entertainment and Quality Control Music. When asked to choose a favorite, he admitted he didn’t remember the names of each label.

He said, “I have no idea who TDE is.” “You see, it is the outcome. That is the situation. I truly believed he was inquiring about music that was quality-controlled, so I have to go back now. I will not lie. That tells you where I stand on this kind of sh*t. I swear I thought we were talking about Floyd Mayweather. Man, I’m into me and me alone.”
