Travis Kelce says he learned from Taylor Swift’s music taste: ‘She’s amazing at what she does’

The three-time Super Bowl champion admires Swift’s music.

Taylor Swift’s ability to separate and draw from several genres has left a lasting influence on three-time Super Bowl winner Travis Kelce.

The Kansas City Chiefs superstar told ET’s Nischelle Turner that dating the Midnights singer has influenced his music taste and that watching a musical genius at work has been eye-opening for him.

“It’s definitely been fun to experience her taste in music, for sure,” he says. “Her work is outstanding. I find it fascinating to observe where she gets her ideas and how she listens to music. It’s fun hearing her opinion.”

He’s influenced by her music, and his pals know it.

His friend and former NBA great Chandler Parsons blasting Swift’s “Bad Blood” before teeing off last week while golfing. Instead of being distracted, Kelce performed his swing brilliantly. An off-camera joker said, “No. This backfired.” Kelce then faced the camera and sang and danced to the music using his golf club as a guitar.

Kelce endorses the Eras Tour in numerous ways, including this fandom and love. She amazes him with her perfect performances night after night to huge crowds.

“Man, tell you. Kelce said, “I think she’s at Wembley eight times for the London shows, which is amazing that she can fill that stadium.” “I played at Wembley once and I don’t even think we filled that thing up.”

Indeed.

On June 21-23 and Aug. 15-19, Swift will perform at London’s 90,000-seat Wembley Stadium. Her 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department, drops this month. Each show sells out. November 2015 saw Kelce and the Chiefs meet the Detroit Lions at Wembley. Although the Chiefs defeated the Lions 45-10 in London, just 83,624 people attended.

Kelce said, “She’ll be all over Europe.” “There won’t be a bad show, I promise you that.”

After enjoying the Eras Tour in Argentina, Sydney, Australia, and Singapore, people wanted to know if Kelce would travel across the pond.

“Oh, you know I gotta go support,” he says ET. “You know it.”

He’s repeatedly shown her support. Despite their hectic schedules, it’s a two-way street.

“We’re career-oriented. We both love what we do, so every chance I can offer my support to her—and knowing she’s showing me all the support during the season—it’s been a fantastic experience getting to know Tay “Kelce said.

Kelce’s offseason has been great, from winning the Super Bowl to vacationing with Swift in the Bahamas and Los Angeles. ET reported that “Taylor and Travis are enjoying their break. They enjoy the present and their affection. They enjoy spending time with friends and family, traveling, exploring new places, and relaxing in private.”

The insider continued, “They appreciate each other’s support and advocacy. Besides appreciating the moment, they’re looking forward to the future. They want to grow happy and healthy together. Their relatives and friends remain supportive.”

Kelce will host his iconic Kelce Jam, Presented by Jim Beam, again shortly. Friday’s Kelce Jam pre-sale begins at 11 a.m. ET. Pre-registration is now open.

Kansas City’s Azura Amphitheater hosts the festival on May 18. Famous performers including Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, and Diplo are included this year.

People have asked about the future Hall of Fame tight end’s Super Bowl playlist since music is always on his thoughts.

I’m a music fan that goes all over, especially when it comes to game day playlists. Childhood memories. My high school pep band played Outkast’s ‘SpottieOttieDopaliscious’ “Kelley said. “I also loved ‘Duffle Bag Boy’ by Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz. I play everything, from childhood jock jams. It’s everywhere. The music is diverse. I can’t decide.”

But a Swift song?

“That’s my daily playlist,” he raved. “Not just my game day.”
