Chelsea’s recruitment department is reportedly showing a lot of interest in one of Arsenal’s players who is set to leave in the summer, according to a report this week.

The football season is coming to an end, and with it, the summer transfer window is drawing nearer by the day. The transfer window and the transactions that some of the bigger teams will be making will soon come into focus.

Chelsea has made significant purchases in the past few transfer windows, but they probably want to add more players in the summer window as well. Although it isn’t expected to be as hectic as prior windows, a few positions might still be considered, contingent on player sales.

Will the goalkeeper be one of those positions?

Even though both Robert Sanchez and Djordje Petrovic, particularly Petrovic, have shown flashes of brilliance at times, neither has truly shown himself to be a totally assured and elite level choice thus far.

This means that the team may need to Һunt for a new stopper in the future. The Daily Mail reports that Aaron Ramsdale of Arsenal is one player they may consider.

They claim that Chelsea, in addition to other Premier League teams and clubs overseas, are interested in Ramsdale.

Paul Robinson, a former goalkeeper for England, once declared that Ramsdale was superior to both Petrovic and Sanchez!

Although I have my doubts, I do believe Ramsdale to be a respectable goalie. Would he be the top-tier goalie we need to help us become a squad that is once again competitive? I’m not entirely certain.

Having said that, I also believe that he receives unjust and harsh criticism and is a far better goalie overall than some people recognize. However, I would question whether or not he is the best option for Chelsea at this time.
