Chelsea has been praised by manager Mauricio Pochettino for maturing and beginning to function as a team instead than a collection of highly paid individuals.
Noni Madueke acknowledged that Chelsea’s two derby victories against Tottenham and West Ham this week was the first instance of Chelsea playing with “unselfishness.”
On Sunday, the Blues thrashed the Hammers 5-0 at Stamford Bridge, with Madueke setting up Jackson’s first of two goals for the Senegal forward.
Just three weeks prior, Madueke and Jackson were almost figҺting on the field during a penalty figҺt that got out of control during Everton’s 6-0 rout.
Cole Palmer, the Blues’ chosen penalty taker, finally got past the whiny pair to convert the spot-kιck. Manager Jorge Pochettino was incensed by the immature actions.
Chelsea destroyed a miserable West Ham team, with goals from Madueke, Cole Palmer, and Conor Gallagher in addition to Jackson’s two strikes.
Following that, Pochettino was left to commend his team for at last beginning to exhibit some much-needed maturity.
Pochettino stated, “I believe this is for Noni and Jackson to show that we learn, that we are smart.”
We received a lot of criticism for the penalty scenario against Everton, but it’s inevitable for a young squad to make mistakes.
You must always feel this way in order to make improvements.
And since we are clever and perceptive individuals, we can get better.
“I believe that Noni saw how the group begins to live and feel today, and it was a fantastic, great move.
It’s a procedure that requires time at all times. It’s always unpredictable how long anything will take—a month, six months, or a year.
“What matters most, though, is that they begin to establish ground rules and come to feel and act like a team of competitors, building all the necessary connections.” Since that is the way things really are.
That makes me very happy since we are a part of this process and we are assisting them in developing and maturing in all areas.
“That was only the beginning—a huge first step, but one we were hoping to accomplish.
“From there, all that remаins is for the facility to undergo a tactical evolution, after which we may continue to enhance in every way.
At Chelsea, Mauricio Pochettino feels that Nicolas Jackson and Noni Madueke are displaying a newfound maturity.

“But it’s impossible to evolve in other aspects without principles or things that we’re starting to show to be competitive in this way.”
It appears like Pochettino has at last devised a system that brings out the best in his Chelsea players.
In recent weeks, Marc Cucurella has shown promise as an inverted full-back, combining a double pivot that has produced true solidity.
Pochettino stated that it has been difficult to give this Chelsea team the kind of foundation that is strong enough to begin adding tactical complexity.
With any luck, the former Spurs manager will be able to add more specifics to his Chelsea structure in the next season.
“In the future, we can implement this role, but first we needed to have the belief, the confidence, the trust that the team needs to be competitive,” said Pochettino.
We, the coaching staff, must implement all of the tactical development we have in mind going forward.
“You have to make the chair first; without a chair, you cannot sit.
“In football, you expect to play as a team even if you don’t have a squad.
It’s similar to an engineer saying, “I want to see the nice furniture and the flat so quickly,” before beginning construction on a structure.
But first, we have to construct the framework and all of that.
“For this reason, on occasion, we have made mistakes when we have made changes to the coaching staff’s roles. We also advise young players to be cautious while making changes.
“Because the most crucial thing is to determine exactly who we are, what kind of team we are, and all the other details you need to know.”
