There’s a fresh opportunity for Chelsea supporters to expand their wardrobe with a nod to the team’s past, but with a dark or light twist, as another season comes to an end!
The two Black Out and Blank Out shirts, which were just released, build on two major successes in our throwback collection by giving a classic Nineties design a modern update.
Top treble
After winning a cup final at Wembley and taking home two European trophies, 1998 will go down as a memorable year for Chelsea. Our best-selling vintage top to date was inspired by the famous blue-and-white jersey worn for the three victories and during those seasons. It also served as the model for the 2023–24 home uniform.
We took another one of our well-liked vintage shirts from 1991–1993 and blackened out the colors and pattern a year ago. It turned out to be a huge Һit as well! Now, two successful concepts come together to commemorate three trophy victories.
The 1997–1999 Chelsea shirt is now available in a chic all-black version with a black sponsorship and badge on the front thanks to our two new shirts, the Black Out and the Blank Out edition. Moreover, to expand the selection and keep up the innovation, there is also a fresh, all-white version available for the first time right now.
Both shirts have a standard fit for easy everyday wear and a retro-style collar with either black or white “Chelsea FC” writing on the back.
