ο»ΏFollowing the launch of his inaugural brick-and-mortar restaurant, Hart House, in Los Angeles, Kevin Hart is back to work on his television series β€œDiΠ΅ Hart.”

The 43-year-old Philadelphia native was seen filming scenes for his upcoming Roku Channel series in Atlanta on Tuesday. Despite not being accompanied by any co-stars at the time, the actor was captured checking his phone between takes on set.

Sporting a black shirt underneath a light tan jacket, Hart navigated the set on Tuesday, occasionally checking his phone with a single AirPod in his ear. He complemented his attire with matching black pants and a pair of black and brown sneakers, while also sporting the beginnings of a beard.

Originally debuting on the short-lived mobile-only streaming service Quibi, β€œDiΠ΅ Hart” follows Hart portraying a fictionalized version of himself who is determined to become an action star at any cost. The first season, consisting of 10 episodes, was created by Tripper Clancy (β€œStuber”) and Derek Kolstad (β€œJohn Wick”) and featured a star-studded cast including John Travolta, Nathalie Emmanuel, Jean Reno, and Josh Hartnett as himself.

Following Quibi’s demise in December 2020 and the subsequent acquisition of its content library by Roku in January 2021, the show was rebranded as a Roku Original for The Roku Channel streaming service, which launched in May 2021.

In early June 2021, The Roku Channel announced the renewal of β€œDiΠ΅ Hart” for a second season, titled β€œDiΠ΅ Harter.” The successful debut of the first season on The Roku Channel, which attracted a record number of households, prompted the swift renewal.

While Kevin Hart is confirmed to return for the second season and will also serve as an executive producer, no other cast members have been announced yet. Executive producers for the series include Tripper Clancy, Candice Wilson, Bryan Smiley, and Thai Randolph, with Eric Appel, who directed all episodes of the first season, returning to direct the second season.
